Roanoke Competes in Camp LeJeune Invitational

JACKSONVILLE, NC -- Men's golf competed in the Camp LeJeune Invitational this past weekend in the three-round tournament. The Maroons finished with a final score of 885, placing eighth in the Scarlet Division of the Invitational.

Individually, Adam Skaff (Charleston, WV, Charleston Catholic) finished two strokes behind Pepi, shooting a personal-best 71 in the final round. Rob Pepi (Huntington, NY, Walt Whitman) tied for 29th-place, as he finished with a scorecard of 223 shooting a best 72 in the second round.

Ryan Davis posted a 224 for the tournament, shooting a personal-best 72 on the first round. Brandon Ketron (Abingdon, VA, Abingdon) fired a 72 on the second and third rounds, nine strokes better than his last day of the invitational. Mike Fietkiewizc had a personal-best 73 on the second day to finish the invitational with a 238 scorecard.

The team returns to action in the Roanoke Invitational at Hanging Rock Golf Club in Salem, Virginia from April 8-10.
