Roanoke Competes in Hampden-Sydney Invitational
HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, Va. --- Roanoke placed 11th in the 2010 Hampden-Sydney Invitational at the Manor Golf Club. The Maroons shot a two-day total of 670 for the tournament.
After a playoff, Averett's Andrew Tilley was tournament champion. Travis Bowman placed second and Bridgewater's Travis Gahman was third, placing as the top ODAC golfer.
Patrick King led Roanoke with a two-round scorecard of 152 (+8) to finish eighth individually. Casey Fallon followed with a score of 170 (+26) while Shane Bourque finished +27, shooting 171 for the tournament.
The men will travel to Ashland, VA to compete in the Ted Keller Invitational hosted by Randolph-Macon on Oct. 1-3.
