Roanoke Golf Participates in Tom & Bettie O'Briant Memorial

SALEM, Va--- The Roanoke College Men's Golf Team traveled to Greensboro, NC to participate in the Tom & Bettie O'Briant Memorial this weekend. The men finished the tournament in 13th place, while Guilford College took home the title.

Patrick King led the Maroons, finishing in a tie for 34th place, with a two-day total of 158 (+18). Adam Skaff (Charleston, WV, Charleston Catholic) shot a 161, three shots behind King, good enough to place him in a tie for 48th.

Rob Pepi (Huntington, NY, Walt Whitman) bounced back to shoot a second day low of of 74, 14 strokes better than his first day total. He finished tied for 52nd place in the tournament. Brandon Ketron finished two shots behind him with two day total of 164. Casey Fallon (Newburyport, MA, The Gunnery) and Ryan Davis finished 67th and 78th respectively.

The Maroons finished with the third best team average in the ODAC for the fall. Ketron ended the season with the tenth lowest individual average in the conference.

The men are done for the fall season, and will resume action in the spring when they travel to Virginia Wesleyan for the Marlin Invitational March 4-6.
