It is a very exciting time right now at Roanoke College, as four of the spring sports now await the opportunity to play in their respective NCAA Championships. While the softball team is the only team currently with an automatic bid to the tournament, women's and men's Lacrosse, and senior Brandon Ketron of the Golf team still have opportunities to continue their seasons.

The Women's Lacrosse team is still battling for a bid to the NCAA Tournament as they enter the ODAC Championship game on Sunday, May 6^th against Washington and Lee in Lexington, VA at 2 PM. If the Maroons capture the title, they will earn an automatic bid to the tournament. The selection show is scheduled for 9:30 PM on Sunday, May 6^th.

The men's lacrosse team is looking for an at-large bid into the NCAA Tournament after falling to Washington and Lee in the Semi-Finals of the ODAC Tournament last weekend. The Maroons, (11-4) who are ranked #15 in the USILA National Poll, still has a possibility of snagging a bid. The selection show will take place on Sunday, May 6^th at 10 PM.
The stress has been lifted from the Softball team as they know that they have already made the NCAA Tournament by way of winning the ODAC Championship on April 29^th. The Maroons (29-9) now must await the information of who and where they will play in the NCAA Div. III Regionals. The selection show will take place on the morning of Monday, May 7^th at 10 AM. The team will watch the event in the Hall of Fame Room in the Bast Center. We encourage all fans and friends of the program to attend!
Lastly, senior captain Brandon Ketron will be awaiting word on whether he will have a spot in the NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championship in Florida May 15-19. Ketron was named the medalist of the ODAC tournament with a two-round score of 145, the fourth-lowest two-round score in ODAC Championship history. He also earned First-Team All-ODAC honors and was named the ODAC's Ted Keller Sportsmanship Award Winner. Ketron will find out if he made the tournament on Monday, May 7^th, as the selection show will take place at 9 PM that evening.
