Adam Skaff, a senior captain who was named Cleveland Golf Scholar All-American last year, led the Maroons with a two-round scorecard of 151, tied for 12th overall. The 2011 All-ODAC selection shot a 75 in the second round, one stroke better than his day one score.
Rob Pepi placed 24th with a final score of 154, just three strokes behind Skaff. He shot a 78 on the first day, but improved in the following round, firing a 76. Fellow senior captain Brandon Ketron, who joined Skaff on the Cleveland Golf Scholar All-America team last year, started off well as he shot a 76 which tied his teammate for a team-high. The 2011 All-ODAC selection finished with a 79 in the final day to total a scorecard of 155, which tied for 26th.
Cameron McLaughlin shot an 81 and an 83 in both days to compile a score of 164. Patrick Guzi finished with a two-round score of 174. Will Reitan fired a 78 to help the Maroons to a strong finish in the first round of competition. He finished the tournament with a 168.
The men return to action on Mar. 15-18 as they compete in the Jekyll Island Invitational, hosted by Oglethorpe. They will play at Pine Lakes Golf Club.
