Golf Takes Seventh in  O'Briant-Jensen Memorial Tournament
GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Roanoke Golf team finished seventh after two days of play at the O'Brient-Jensen Memorial tournament, hosted at the Cardinal Golf Club. The Maroons posted a two day score of 629, just one stroke behind Christopher Newport in sixth. Guilford won the match with a team score of 594.

Over the two days, only eight sub-par rounds were turned in. Tournament winner Noah Ratford of Guilford finished the tournament with a score of 141 (-3).

The Maroons were tied for 10th after the first day of action but shot a the fourth lowest team score on day two (308) to move up to seventh for the tournament. Brandon Ketron (Abingdon, VA, Abingdon) led Roanoke with a 13th place finish with a two-day score of 149, just one stroke out of a tie for ninth.
