ROANOKE - The Roanoke College golf team took seventh place in the 2013 Roanoke College Invitational, held at the Roanoke Country Club on Saturday and Sunday.

Final Results

There were 14 teams that took part of the Roanoke Invitational, including eight Old Dominion Athletic Conference teams. Bluefield State College took the title, after shooting a two day score of 606 (+38). Hampden-Sydney's Rick O'Connell won the individual title shooting 146 (+4), one stroke ahead of Ben Hunter of the Apprentice School (147, +5). Roanoke's John Willard tied for sixth place, shooting 151 (+9) over two days of play.

Jack Prater took 14^th in the tournament, shooting 154 (+12) over the course of two days. Robert Scott put up a score of 156 (+14) which was good enough to place 23^rd in the invitational. Will Reitan (162) and William Brown (165) finished the tournament in 43^rd and 51^st, respectively. Cameron McLaughlin finished the event with a score of 170, while Lucas Boreel tallied a mark of 185.
