Taylor, a junior from Roanoke, Va., led the Maroons to the team title at the Shenandoah Invitational. Taylor tied for second overall, posting rounds of 75 and 71 for a six-over 146 on the 7,000-yard par-70 layout at the Shenandoah Valley Golf Club. Roanoke carded rounds of 303 and 285 (588) to best NCAA Division II Shepherd University by one stroke in the team standings.
The Maroons return to action on September 27-29 as they play in the Virginia State Intercollegiate. The match is scheduled to be played at the Olde Mill Resort in Laurel Fork, VA.
