Roanoke Remained Second in USILA Top-20 Poll

Roanoke men's lacrosse remained at the #2 spot in the USILA Top-20 Poll announced Monday afternoon. The men have been ranked in the top-10 all season and have been ranked second for the last two weeks.
Also in the poll is ODAC members Washington & Lee (#6) and Lynchburg (#14), which is the next two opponents on the schedule after Guilford on Wednesday. Cabrini, which the Maroons defeated on the road March 21, 16-13, moved up two spots to #15 while Williams received votes in the poll. The men defeated the Ephs, 17-16 in a thrilling come-from-behind overtime win.
Roanoke (12-0, 2-0 ODAC) is off to its best start in school-history in addition to its record-breaking 10-0 non-conference mark. The five-straight 20-goal games at the start of the season were the longest streak for the storied 42-year program and have totaled seven for the season. The men need one more 20-goal game to tie the 1992 and 1993 teams for the most in a season.
The men will travel to Greensboro, NC to play against Guilford in ODAC action. The Maroons are 25-2 in the series against the Quakers since 1981 and are riding a 17-game win-streak since 1992. Game time is set for 3:30 p.m.
