Fourth Quarter Pushes Roanoke past Endicott, 14-10
DARIEN, Conn. --- Roanoke came alive in the fourth quarter to pull away from Endicott, 14-10 at Darien High School on Sunday afternoon. The Maroons, ranked #7 in the country, improved to 12-2 on the year while the Gulls, which received votes in the USILA Top-20 Poll, dropped to 7-5.
The Maroons, who have won 12 games for only the eighth season in program-history, ended Endicott's five-game win-streak as the Gulls were dealt their second-biggest loss of the season. It was the first-ever meeting for Roanoke against The Commonwealth Coast Conference school. The Maroons are 2-0 against TCC Conference schools, with its other win coming in 2005 against Roger Williams, 24-8.
Roanoke, now 82-21 (79.6%) over the last six years up to this point, have won its fourth-straight game. With a win over Guilford on Wednesday, the Maroons can clinch their 17th ODAC regular season title.

The Gulls couldn't come but within two goals in the final 15 minutes, as the Maroons outscored Endicott, 4-3 to win their first game of the season at a neutral site. Roanoke is now 6-0 at neutral sites during the regular season since 2003.
Matt Quinton (Elora, Ontario, Canada, Kitchener Braves), a former Commonwealth Coast Conference player from New England College, led the Maroons with four goals. He now has 148 career goals, 127 at Roanoke, which places him seventh on the all-time list. He also moved up to 18th on the career scoring list with 161 points. Pat March (Glen Burnie, MD, Mt. St. Joseph)scored two goals to put him sixth all-time in scoring (222pts) and fourth on the career goals list with 143.
