FOREST, Va. --- Roanoke College midfielder Justin Tuma headlines the 2011 All-ODAC Men's Lacrosse Teams as the Maroons' standout was named the ODAC Player of the Year in a vote of the league's coaches on Tuesday. Jeff Keating (attack) and Alex Burkhead (defense) joined Tuma (midfield) to earn first-team honors. Richard Lachlan (attack), Trey Keeley (midfield) and Drew Manley (short-stick specialist) were tabbed second team honors while Eric DeLong (defense) and Mike Hayden (attack) were voted honorable mention All-ODAC.

Tuma, a senior from Bloomfield Hills, Mich., broke Roanoke's 27-year old career groundballs record (439) after setting a new single-season (167) and single-game (21) record in that category this spring. He is ranked fifth in NCAA Div. III in groundballs per game (10.44) and 19th in face-off win percentage (.634). Tuma leads the conference in face-off wins (211) and groundballs while fifth in assists (22) and shots (103). He is the first Maroon to be named ODAC Player of the Year since 2007 and the 15th RC player to earn the honor. This also marks the third-straight season that the team captain earned all-conference honors.
Keating, a junior from New Jersey, leads the ODAC and ranked 28th in NCAA Div. III in scoring (65pts). He is ranked second in goals (40) and third in assists (25) while atop the conference in man-up goals with 10 this season. He is ranked 16th on the career scoring list (171pts) and 13th in career goals (104) at Roanoke. He was a three-time ODAC Player of the Week selection this year en route to a second-consecutive All-ODAC selection.
Burkhead earns a spot on the All-ODAC squad for the third-straight season, including back-to-back first-team accolades. He has started in all 16 games this season and 66 of 70 career games on the defensive end. This season, the North Carolina native totaled two goals, two assists, 47 groundballs and 37 caused turnovers. He has compiled 167 groundballs and 61 caused turnovers for his career.
Lachlan, a sophomore from Canada, earned his first all-conference honor as he ranked second in goals (41) and sixth in points (50) in addition to nine assists. He has started in all 16 games and was named ODAC Player of the Week on April 4. He scored a career-best seven goals in the win over Virginia Wesleyan (4/2) and six against Ursinus (3/9).
Manley earned All-ODAC honors for the second time in his career. He currently is fifth in the ODAC in caused turnovers (27) and sixth in groundballs (63). A team captain this year, Manley has five goals and 12 assists for 17 points. He notched season-bests of eight groundballs vs. Dickinson (3/12) and Cabrini (4/10) in addition to 13 groundballs over the last two games. He caused four turnovers vs. Virginia Wesleyan (4/2).
Keeley earned All-ODAC recognition for the first time in his career. He ranks second in the ODAC and 36th in the country with 26 assists. Keeley is ranked 12th all-time at Roanoke in career assists. The senior started in 12 of 15 games while totaling 23 goals, 49 points and won 47-of-77 face-offs (.610).
Hayden and DeLong both earned their first post-season honor of their careers. Hayden currently has totaled 20 goals and 15 assists for 35 points in 16 games this spring. DeLong has started in 13 of 16 games this season as he collected 33 groundballs and caused 16 turnovers entering this weekend.
