Tonight the 13th ranked Maroons face off with the sixth ranked Lynchburg Hornets in each team's first ODAC competition of the season. The action starts at 7:00 PM at Donald J. Kerr Stadium. Roanoke sits at 4-2 and is coming off a 16-4 win over the College of Wooster on Wednesday. Lynchburg is 6-1 on the season after defeating McDaniel College on Wednesday night.
The Maroons lead the all-time series 33-6, and have won five straight over the Hornets, including two ODAC Championship games. The Hornets have won just two of the last 14 meetings.
Roanoke is led by senior All-American Jeff Keating (Chatham, NJ, Chatham), who has 14 goals and nine assists this season. Richard Lachlan (Port Coquitlam, B.C., Terry Fox Secondary) is the team's leading goal scorer with 18 tallies.
