On Saturday, Donald J. Kerr Stadium will host a Roanoke lacrosse doubleheader as part of Roanoke College's 2012 Alumni Weekend. The women's lacrosse team will face Berry College (GA) at 11:30 AM, followed by the men's lacrosse team, who faces off with Randolph-Macon at 2:00 PM. It will be Senior Day for both teams, as they will recognize four players from the women's lacrosse team and seven from the men's team.

The women's lacrosse team has never faced Berry College, and is coming off a 15-9 win over Sweet Briar last week. The Maroons are led by Allison Bonanno (Ridgewood, NJ, Ridgewood), who has 40 goals and 32 assists this season for 72 points, which leads the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC). Roanoke sits at 7-5 overall, 5-2 in conference play.

The Roanoke College men's lacrosse team will square off with Randolph-Macon at 2:00 PM on Saturday. The Maroons have more wins over the Yellow Jackets than any other program they have faced. Roanoke defeated Randolph College last Saturday, 26-3, to improve to 9-3 with a 4-1 record in ODAC play. Jeff Keating (Chatham, NJ, Chatham) is second in the conference in assists and points, with 25 and 54, respectively. Junior Richard Lachlan (Port Coquitlam, B.C., Terry Fox Secondary) leads the team in goals with 31.
