FOREST, Va. --- Two schools secured all four major individual honors as part of the 2012 All-ODAC Men's Lacrosse awards. Lynchburg College defenseman Joe Lisicky was tabbed the ODAC Player of the Year, while Hornets' mentor Steve Koudelka earned ODAC Coach of the Year laurels. Washington and Lee University attack Cameron Dabir garnered ODAC Rookie of the Year recognition, and Generals' defenseman Joe LaSala was selected as the ODAC/Farm Bureau Insurance Scholar-Athlete in a vote of the league's sports information directors.
Four maroons earned First Team All-ODAC Honors: Jeff Keating, Mike Hayden Brayden Gerrie and Eric DeLong. Keating leads the team in total points (79), as he has the team high in assists (35) and ranks second in goals (39). Hayden earned the nod at midfielder, notching 29 assists, which ranks second on the team in that category. He also ranks second on the team in points with 48. Gerrie was named to the team from the long-stick category, where he ranks in the top-three on the team in ground balls (56) and forced turnovers (25). DeLong leads the team in forced turnovers with 31, helping earn him first team honors.
Richard Lachlan was the only member of the Maroons squad to be named Second Team All-ODAC. Lachlan is third in the team in total points, but leads the team in scoring with 40 goals.
Lastly, five players were named to the All-ODAC Third Team: Joey Coretti, Reid Mayberry, Connor DuBois, Michael Packo and Mike Hardon. Coretti ranks fourth on the team in points with 39, and is third on the team in goals netting 33. Mayberry came on strong in the second half of the season, tallying 30 goals through the ODAC Tournament. Dubois earns the nod at midfield with 15 goals and 18 assists. He also ranks second on the team in ground balls with 64. Packo started and played in all 15 games for the maroons, picking up 27 ground balls and forcing 18 turnovers. Hardon started in nine games for Roanoke and played in 12. He had the lowest goal against average on the team (8.41) and holds a record of 9-1.
