DeLong and Keating Picked to Play in USILA North/South Game
Perry, NY - In preparation for the 71st annual United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association/LaxWorld Division III Senior North/South Games, the South coach, Dave Webster, Dickinson College and the North coach, Dave Campbell, Middlebury College have selected their teams.

Two Roanoke players have been chosen to be a part of the Division III Senior North/South Game. First Team All-ODAC Honorees, Eric DeLong and Jeff Keating, were picked as members of the South team. The team will be coached by the Dickenson Coaching staff of Dave Webster, Tim Marshall and 2010 Roanoke College graduate Pat March.

This game originated in 1940 and was played at Municipal Stadium in Baltimore, MD. This year the game will be played in Harvard Stadium, Boston, MA, on Friday, May 25, at 3:00 PM. The Division I/II game will be played at 5:30PM. Tickets can be purchased at the stadium.


Keating led the Maroons in 2012 assits with 35 and was second on the team in goals with 39. The three-time All-ODAC selection tallied 74 total points, which included team highs in game winning goals (6) and man-advantage goals (15). Keating picked up 33 ground balls and forced six turnovers.

DeLong was strong on defense for Roanoke this season. He played and started in all 15 games for the Maroons in 2012. DeLong led the team in forced turnovers, causing the opponents to lose possesion 31 times. He also gathered 30 ground balls, and earned an assist against Guilford College on April 18th.
