Men's Lacrosse Ranked 16th in Latest USILA Week Seven Poll
PERRY, NY - The Roanoke College men's lacrosse team is ranked #16 the latest USILA Week Seven Poll, released Monday.

The Maroons return to the polls after receiving votes for the last two weeks, but not making the top-20. Over the past week, Roanoke picked up two wins, defeating Shenandoah University (22-5) and #7 ranked Lynchburg College (9-8). The Maroons took down the #7 hornets after Spencer Parsons netted the game-winning goal with 1:28 to play in the third period, as neither team scored in the fourth quarter.

Richard Lachlan leads the team in scoring with 30 goals, and has 37 points to his credit. Second in points on the team in Tyler McWilliams, who has 36 (18g, 18a). Also with 30-plus points for the Maroons is Mike Hayden, who has scored 14 goals and tallied a team high 19 assists.

The Maroons have three games this week, including two teams that are featured in the USILA Poll. Roanoke hosts #3 Stevenson University on Tuesday, April 9th in Kerr Stadium, in a rescheduled game that begins at 7:00 PM. The very next day, the Maroons go on the road to Bridgewater to start the homestretch of ODAC play at 4:00 PM. On Saturday, April 13th, the Maroons will take on Hampden-Sydney, who received votes in the week seven poll.
