FOREST - Senior Richard Lachlan was named ODAC Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week, announced Monday afternoon. This is the second time he has earned the honor this season

Lachlan, a senior from Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada, notched 11 points in helped the Maroons two three victories, including two ODAC contests and one against fourth-ranked Stevenson. Against the Mustangs, Lachlan beat the keeper four times and assisted on another tally in RC's 14-13 triumph. He came back with three goals and another helper in a 22-3 conference win over Bridgewater. Over the weekend, Lachlan found the back of the net on two straight goals, including the game-tying score with 2:29 to play, as the Maroons' recovered from a four-goal deficit in the fourth quarter with five unanswered goals to defeat Hampden-Sydney, 12-11. For the season, Lachlan leads the ODAC with 39 goals scored towards 48 total points, which ranks third in the league.

The Maroons return to action on Wednesday, April 17^th as they travel to face Guilford College. That contest is scheduled for a 7:00 PM start.
