The Maroons fell five spots from 8th in the USILA Preseason Poll. Roanoke battled against then ranked #16 St. Mary's College on Tuesday, February 18th, falling 12-8 in the contest. Tyler McWilliams and Colin Mackenzie led the Maroons with two goals each, while Michael Lintner, Joey Dishaw, Kevin Jackson and Colin Rossano each finished with one goal apiece.
The Maroons next challenge comes on Wednesday afternoon as they play host to #10 ranked Denison in Kerr Stadium. The Big Red enter Salem on Wednesday with a 2-0 record, having defeated Mount St. Joseph(29-1) and the #14 ranked Washington and Lee (11-9). The Roanoke vs. Denison contest will take place at 2:00 PM on Wednesday.
Roanoke's next home game after Wednesday will be on Saturday, March 8th as they host #6 ranked Denison. That contest is slated for a 2:00 PM start.
