McWilliams and Pilat Named to 75th annual USILA/Nike North-South Senior All-Star Game

PERRY, N.Y. – Roanoke College Men's Lacrosse senior standouts Tyler McWilliams and Will Pilat have been selected to take part in the prestigious USILA/Nike North-South Senior All-Star Game on Friday.

The Maroons have now had 56 players and coaches take part in the game since 1988.

A First-Team All-ODAC following this season, McWilliams was fourth in the ODAC with 63 points.  He ranked fifth in the league with 40 goals and sixth in assists with 23. Earlier this season he became just one of 12 players in RC history to score 200 career points. McWilliams finished his career with 147 goals which is sixth most all-time, while his 92 assists is eighth highest and his 239 points is sixth best in program history.

Pilat capped off his career in Salem with his fourth All-ODAC selection. He finished the year with 52 points which ranked 10 in the league, while his 35 goals was ninth and his 17 assists was 15th. Pilat joined McWilliams in the 200 point club earlier this season and finished his career with a 135 goals, 74 assists and 209 total points which is 10th most in program history. He ranks 10th in career goals and 15th in career assists.

The 75th annual USILA/Nike North-South Senior All-Star games will be played at the Edith Robb Dixon Field on the campus of Cabrini College in Radnor, PA, on Friday, May 27, 2016.  The game times are 3:00 PM for the Division III game and 5:30 PM for the Division I-II game.

In 2016, Roanoke extended its school record with its eighth consecutive season with 10 or more wins, finishing with 13 victories in 2016, four of those victories were against NCAA Tournament teams.  The Maroons finished atop the ODAC regular season standings for the 23rd time since 1981.
