FOREST, Va. – Roanoke goalie Burke McManus has been named the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week.

McManus, a freshman from Baltimore, Md., helped the #19 Maroons to a pair of ODAC wins last week. McManus made 22 saves overall, beginning with nine stops in an 11-7 victory over Randolph College. He followed that up by setting a new career-best with 13 saves in a 9-8 triumph at Hampden-Sydney. He registered a .619 save percentage in that contest, with four stops coming in the opening frame as RC built a 5-2 advantage. For the season, McManus is sixth in the ODAC with an 8.89 goals-against-average and eighth with a .548 save percentage.
