Men's Soccer Falls in OT to Randolph, 2-1
LYNCHBURG - The Roanoke College men's soccer team dropped an Old Dominion Athletic Conference match to Randolph College 2-1 in Overtime on Saturday. The Maroons are now 7-4-1, 5-2-1 ODAC, while the WildCats are now 6-5-2 and 4-3-1 in ODAC play.

Roanoke now has a 2-2-1 all-time record against Randolph College and has lost the last two meetings between the teams.

It wasn't until the 61st minute of the game that Roanoke got on the board, as Garrett Eldridge received a cross from Brian White, placing it in the back of the net. Randolph found the equalizer with just three minutes to play in regulation when Corey Sindle snuck one past the keeper in his eighth goal of the season.

Sindle put the game away seven minutes into the first overtime period, as he placed one over top of the goalkeeper's head, giving the WildCats the 2-1 victory.

Randolph led Roanoke in shots 11-9 and corner kicks 5-4. Tyler Carbaugh topped the Maroons in shots with four, followed by Garrett Eldridge with three.

The Maroons return to action on Wednesday, October 17th, as they travel to Bridgewater, VA to face the Eagles in ODAC action. That contest is scheduled for a 4:00 PM start.
