Pflugrad adds Alistair Moore to Men's Soccer Staff
Head coach Ryan Pflugrad '02 has added Alistair Moore to the men's soccer staff announced this week.  He will join Brian White '14 and Chris Lovatt '06, who have been with the Maroons since the 2014 season.  He will start on July 1st and will be responsible for all areas of recruiting, scouting, practice planning and player development.

"I am pleased to welcome Alistair to the Roanoke College Men's Soccer Family.  His on the field experiences at the NCAA Division I and Division III level have prepared him well for a future in the coaching profession.  His knowledge of the game, experiences as a player, and drive to grow as a coach and recruiter will undoubtedly benefit our program.  Alistair excelled as a student-athlete and will be a great leader for both current and prospective players on and off the field here at Roanoke College." - Ryan Pflugrad

"I'm excited to be joining the staff of the men's soccer team here at Roanoke College and am looking forward to building upon the successful history of the program in the ODAC and at the national level.  I'm very thankful for the opportunity provided to me by Coach Pflugrad and the athletic department.  I am extremely impressed by the set-up, both academically and athletically, at Roanoke College.  I'm eager to begin working with the team."   - Alistair Moore

Moore comes to Roanoke College after graduating from Emory University in 2014. He played for Virginia Tech in 2009, where he was just one of five freshman who saw the field, playing in 13 games for the Hokies. He finished his two-year career at Emory with 21 starts and three assists as a midfielder, over the course of 29 games.
