KANSAS CITY, MO – The Roanoke College men's soccer team is currently ranked #24 in the latest NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Week 8 Poll.  The last time the Maroons were ranked nationally was on October 15, 2013, as they were 24^th in the d3Soccer.com Poll.
 
The Maroons currently have a record of 10-2-2 with an undefeated mark of 7-0-1 in the ODAC.  They are coming off of two one-goal wins, having defeated Eastern Mennonite 4-3, as well as Hampden-Sydney 1-0.  So far this season, the #24 ranked team has outscored opponents 33-14, netting 2.36 goals per game.  The Maroons are undefeated at home, going 5-0-1 on the turf at Kerr Stadium.
 
Marc Dinkel leads the Maroons in goals scored, netting 10 goals this season.  He adds another seven assists to the mix for a total of 27 points on the season.  Dinkel leads the ODAC in points, goals and assists.  Tyler Carbaugh ranks second in the ODAC in assists with six, going along with four goals.  12 different Maroons have scored this season, with Orestis Ilias and Robby Lentine netting three apiece.  Cole Sinclair has been the goalkeeper in charge for the Maroons, starting in all of Roanoke's 14 games, allowing only 11 goals and tallying 43 saves.  Sinclair has the third highest save percentage in the ODAC with a mark of .769.
 
Roanoke is the only Old Dominion Athletic Conference squad in the NSCAA poll, but early season opponent for the Maroons, Salisbury University, ranks in at #15 in the list.
 
The Maroons return to action tonight as they travel to face Lynchburg College (10-4; 7-1 ODAC).  That game is scheduled for a 7:00 PM start.
