The Lead: Roanoke goalkeeper Cole Sinclair and his Randolph counterpart CJ Stevens each made six saves as the Maroons and WildCats battled to a scoreless draw on Wednesday evening in ODAC Men's Soccer action.

How it Happened:
  • Randolph had a chance to score in the 33rd minute following a corner kick that was corralled by Adam Watson who got off a shot into an open goal but RC's Marshall Hodge blocked the shot.
  • Immediately following Watson's chance, RC had an opportunity when Robby Lentine flicked a pass to a streaking Tyler Carbaugh who had Stevens beat but defender Blake Heaterhley was there to stop the shot.
  • In the 69th minute, Randolph's Sam Griffith hit the post and was denied by Sinclair on another chance from right in front of the net in the 77th minute.
  • With seven minutes remaining, Cole Thornton crossed a pass that was misplayed Stevens. Carbaugh collected the ball, passed to Lentine who got a shot off only to see it saved by Stevens.
  • The best scoring chance of overtime came in the closing seconds when Marshall Hodge played a ball to Lentine, who broke in alone, but Stevens used his leg to make the save.
