The Lead: Roanoke College exploded for three goals in the second-half to advance to the ODAC Men's Soccer Semifinals with a 3-0 victory over Bridgewater Tuesday.

How it Happened:

• RC controlled the pace of play in the first-half, outshooting BC 11-1 in the first 45 minutes but were unable to find the back of the net.
• The Maroons got on the board in the 60^th minute when Fortune Sibanda collected a loose ball and bent a shot from 35 yards out over Eagle keeper Mark Davis to make it 1-0.
• Tyler Carbaugh doubled the RC lead to 2-0 in the 77^th minute when Davis misplayed a crossing passing and Carbaugh was there to knock the ball home.
• RC closed out the scoring in the 89^th minute when Orestis Ilias setup Cole Thornton at point blank range to put the Maroons out in front 3-0.
• RC outshot BC 20-4 and held a 6-1 edge in corner kicks.
• Davis finished with seven saves, while Maroon keeper Cole Sinclair made one stop in picking up the shutout.

Up Next:
Roanoke will face second-seeded Randolph on Saturday in the semifinals at Washington and Lee at a time to be determined. RC and Randolph played to a scoreless tie earlier this season in Salem. The Generals will face Virginia Wesleyan in the other semi.
