The United Soccer Coaches announced their All Region awards on Wednesday and a pair of Maroons were honored by the organization. Joe Carman was named one of the three defenders on the 1st team while Dylan Berk made the 2nd team as a midfielder.

Carman continued to receive awards this post-season after being named to the All Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) 1st team, for the second consecutive year, back in November. The senior anchored a Roanoke defense that led the conference by giving up just 10 goals and an ODAC best .52 goals per game. The Blacksburg native added one goal and one assist on the offensive end of the field. In 2020, Carman was named to the Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) 1st team as well as being named the State Defensive Player of the Year.

Berk was also named to the 2021 All ODAC 1st team a season after being named an all conference 2nd team selection in 2019 and 2020. Berk scored a pair of goals and handed out seven assists, tied for 3rd best in the ODAC. The junior had one game winning goal while being one of five Maroons to play and start in all 18 games.
