NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - Men's Tennis falls to Christopher Newport in match play, 6-1. The Maroons stand at 4-4 overall while the Captains progressed to 10-5 on the season.

In #1 singles, Jon Roy (Greensboro, NC, Grimsley) defeated Garrett Widing, 6-4, 4-6, 6-1 the only match win for the Maroons. This gives Roy a record of 5-2 in singles play.

In doubles completion, Roanoke's Charlie Graves (South Hamilton, MA, Hamilton Wenham Regional) and Greg Migliarese (Roanoke, VA, Hidden Valley)(#3 slot) were in a very close match between CNU's Lorenzo Sison and Christ Yost, 7-6 but it was declared unfinished due to weather.

The next match is against Bridgewater on April 7 at the Elizabeth Campus Courts. The scheduled time is 4:00 p. m.
