ASHLAND, Va--- Roanoke men's tennis traveled to Randolph-Macon College Saturday afternoon and claimed a 9-0 win, advancing their season to 5-4. The RMC Yellow Jackets stand at 2-9 on the season, 0-8 in ODAC action, while the Maroons are 5-2 in conference play.
In singles competition, Roanoke's Jon Roy (Greensboro, NC, Grimsley) (#1 singles) dominated the competition after he defeated Randolph-Macon's Frank Donnelly with a 6-0, 6-2 result. James Lee (Radnor, PA, Radnor) (# 2 singles) shut down Chandler Weston 6-1, 6-3. Maroons Alex Lyons (Topsfield, MA, St. Johns Prep) (#3 singles) prevailed over RMC Yellow Jacket's David Dutton with a match point of 6-1, 6-2.
Charlie Graves (South Hamilton, MA, Hamilton Wenham Regional) (#4 singles) came up with a win against opponent Patrick Nugent, 6-1, 6-3, while Chris Migliarese (Roanoke, VA, Hidden Valley) (Roanoke, VA, Hidden Valley) (#5 singles) added to the Maroons success after he upended David Lynch, 6-1, 6-1. Greg Migliarese (Roanoke, VA, Hidden Valley) (#6 singles) ended the singles matches with a solid match win against Brian Sommer.
In doubles, Jon Roy and James Lee (#1 doubles) took on the Maroons first match, securing an 8-3 win over the Yellow Jackets duo Frank Donnelly and Kevin Lloyd. Pair Alex Lyons and Chris Migliarese (#2 doubles) also found themselves in the winning bracket, after taking on competitors Chandler Weston and Patrick Nugent (RMC) with a final score of 8-2. Charlie Graves and Greg Migliarese (#3) ended the day with an 8-3 win over David Dutton and Brad Neubeck.

The Men will host their next match against Guilford College April 11th at 3:00 p.m.. The games will take place at the Roanoke Tennis Courts, located on the Elizabeth Campus.
