HILTON HEAD, SC - The Roanoke College men's tennis team defeated Adrian College 7-2 in the second match of their Spring Break trip, on Monday morning. The Maroons now have a record of 4-2, 1-1 ODAC, while the Bulldogs are 5-3.

The Maroons swept the doubles portion of the match over the Bulldogs. The #1 doubles pair of Matt Kessler and James Lee was victorious over Jordan Verbauwhede and Michael Mertz, 8-2. The #2 doubles team of Chris Migliarese and Jake Morriss, and the #3 duo of Lewis Young and Ian Webster, won their respective doubles matches of by the score of 8-2.

Kessler won for the second time in the day, this time in #1 singles over Verbauwhede, 7-6 (7-2); 6-4. Lee won his second singles match of the trip, defeating Mertz 6-0; 6-2 in #2 singles. Also winning for the Maroons was Webster over Spencer Georgetti in three sets 6-7; 6-3; 10-5. Morriss defeated Troy Gargrave in three sets as well, 6-2; 4-6; 6-0.

The Maroons return to action on Tuesday, March 5^th as they take on Elizabethtown College in the final match of their Spring Break trip. That contest is scheduled for a 9:00 AM start.
