Men's Tennis Defeats Shenandoah in ODAC Play, 8-1
SALEM - The Roanoke College men's tennis team defeated Old Dominion Athletic Conference opponent Shenandoah, 8-1 on Friday afternoon. The Maroons now have a record of 5-3, 2-1 in the ODAC, while the Hornets have a record of 2-4 and are 0-3 in ODAC play.

Roanoke picked up two of the three victories possible in doubles on the afternoon. The team of James Lee and Matt Kessler defeated Baker and Panel 8-2 in #1 doubles. Chris Migliarese and Jake Morris also picked up the win in #2 doubles, beating Daskalov and O'Neal 8-0.

In singles play, the Maroons made the 6-0 sweep. Kessler won in two sets over Steven Baker, 6-1; 7-5. Lee continues to impress, winning in #2 singles, 6-2; 6-0. Lewis Young defeated Vladimir Daskalov 6-4; 7-6 (4), while Migliarese won 6-4; 6-2 in the #4 spot. Ian Webster took on Zach O'Neal, besting the Hornet, 6-2; 6-4. Morris finished things off in the #6 spot, defeating Will Leach, 6-1; 6-2.

The Maroons return to action on Sunday, March 17th as they play host to ODAC opponent Guilford College. That contest is scheduled for a 1:00 PM start.
