Maroons Down Pride on Tuesday, 6-3 in Men's Tennis
GREENSBORO, NC - The Roanoke College men's tennis team won its fourth straight match on Tuesday, defeating Greensboro College 6-3 in non-conference action. The Maroons now have a record of 8-3; 4-1 in the ODAC, while the Pride now has a mark of 5-6 overall.

The Maroons started off with three wins in doubles competition. The #1 doubles team of Matt Kessler and James Lee defeated Kyle Gatti and Zach Passman 9-7 in a tough matchup. In #2 doubles, Jake Morris and Ian Webster defeated Matthew Troy and Matt Moscatello 9-8 (7-2) in another very close decision. Lewis Young and Will Groth earned the victory over Ian Weiner and Brett Graeser, 8-3 in #3 doubles.

In singles action, Lee picked up another win in the #2 spot, as he defeated Gatti 6-2; 6-0. Webster took on Troy, earning the win, 7-5; 6-3 in #4 singles. Roanoke's final win came at the #5 spot, as Morris defeated Moscatello 6-4; 7-5.

The Maroons return to action on Friday, April 5th as they travel to Lynchburg to take on Randolph College in ODAC action. That match is scheduled for a 4:00 PM start.
