The Lead: The Roanoke College women's tennis team hosted Guilford College on Friday afternoon. The Maroons would win their third consecutive match with 7-2 win over the Quakers, claiming their first win in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) play this season. On the men's side, the Quakers would add to their perfect ODAC mark with a 9-0 win over Roanoke.
Women's Highlights:
- Lucy Collins and Halle Fernstrum won at the top doubles spot by an 8-4 score. Fernstrum added an individual win at the #2 singles spot, 6-4 and 6-3.
- Margriet Bostoen and Julia Bassett gave the Maroons another point with an 8-5 win at #2 doubles. At #4 singles, Bassett took the first set, 6-0, before Nya Reed was forced to retire.
- Dana Meyer teamed with Simone Jol for an 8-5 win, giving RC a sweep of the doubles matches. In singles play, Meyer was a 6-4 and 6-1 winner at the #5 spot while Jol picked up a 6-4 and 6-4 win in the #6 spot.

Men's Highlights:
- Zach Kriebel and Hardt Lesko would have the best showing in the doubles matches as the #1 duo would fall to Drake Schreiber and Evan Wong, 8-5.
- Lance Beheler fell to Tye Sasser at the #5 singles spot, 6-3 and 6-2, in the closest match of the individual matchups.
What's Next: The men travel to Randolph-Macon tomorrow before returning to Salem to join the women in hosting Centre on Monday afternoon at the Elizabeth Campus Tennis Center.
