SALEM, Va. -- Roanoke freshman Federico Maccari has been named the ODAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week the league office announced.

Maccari helped the Maroons last week start off ODAC play with an 8-1 win over Randolph on the road. He won his match at the top singles spot after dropping the frist set and winning in a match tiebreak 13-11. In doubles he teamed up with Julio Marques and won in a tiebreak 8-7 (1) over the top WildCat duo. 

The Maroons are back on the court at home on Satruday, February 25 when they host Maryville (Tenn.) in a non-conference match at 1:30 p.m.
