Softball Ranked 16th in Latest NFCA Top-25 Poll
LOUISVILLE, KY – The Roanoke College softball team was ranked 16th in the NFCA Division III Week Two Top-25.  The Maroons currently have a record of 8-2.

The Maroons fell from a school program high #5 ranking in the NFCA Week One Poll, after falling to then #13 ranked Emory University twice on March 2-3.  The Maroons did defeat Birmingham-Southern twice on that weekend as well, increasing their record to 6-2.  Roanoke is currently in the middle of its spring break trip to Orlando, Florida, where they are playing in the Rebel Games.  The Maroons defeated Muskingum University (7-5), as well as Beloit College (10-0 in 5 innings).

The Maroons finish their Orlando tournament on Wednesday, after playing Bluffton University and Aurora University.  The Maroons return to home action on Wednesday, March 13th as they host Guilford College in their ODAC opener.  The first pitch is scheduled for 5:00 PM.
