The Maroons fell two spots from their 23rd ranking in the NFCA Week Three Top-25 Poll. In the past week, Roanoke finished with a record of 4-1, defeating ODAC opponent Guilford College (9-4; 10-9). The Maroons also won two of their contests in the Roanoke Valley College Softball Bash. Roanoke won over Gettysburg College (17-6) and Castleton State College (9-0), both in five innings. The Maroons only loss came against Mount Aloysius in the opening game of the weekend.
Roanoke returns to action on Thursday, March 21st as they return to ODAC action against Bridgewater College on the road. The Maroons go back to home play as they host Randolph-Macon at the Moyer Complex on Sunday, March 24th. That double-header starts with a first pitch at 1:00 PM.
