The Lead: Ruthie Williams had three hits and got the win in the circle as Roanoke topped Emory & Henry 8-3.

How it Happened
- Roanoke took a 1-0 lead when Taylor Carter reached on a fielder's choice and Becca Wenger came around to score.
- Back-to-back bases loaded walks to Taylor Slate and Katie Smith made it 3-0 before Ruthie Williams singled to score Carter and Slate to make it 5-0.
- After Carter and Slated reach to start the inning, Smith would make the score 8-1 with a three-run home run in the bottom of the fourth.
- Williams got the win in the circle allowing just three runs on six hits and striking out three on the way to improving her record to 6-1 on the year.
- Taylor Banner dropped to 6-9 after allowing eight runs in three innings of work for the Wasps.
- Williams finished with three hits, while Carter and Smith each had a pair.

The Lead: Teresa Wagner tossed a three-hit, complete game shutout as Roanoke swept an ODAC doubleheader from the Wasps with a 6-0 victory.

How it Happened
- Roanoke jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the third inning when Carter doubled home Slate to make it 1-0 then Smith got an RBI groundout to make it 2-0.
- Carter extended the lead to 3-0 with an RBI double to score Jordan Meador in the bottom of the fourth inning.
- In the bottom of the fifth inning, RC broke the game open scoring three runs on three hits and taking advantage of a Wasp error to extend its lead to 6-0.
- Wagner improved to 3-7 on the year after she allowed just three hits in the game and struck out five batters and just one walk.
- Mattie Morris had three hits while Carter and Williams each had two.

Up Next: Roanoke will head to Eastern Mennonite for a 3:00 p.m. ODAC doubleheader on Friday.
