Karnes was a repeat member of the 1st team as a pitcher after earning the same honor in 2021. This season the Roanoke native won 20 games with a save in 31 appearances. Karnes posted an earned run average of 2.09 over 157.2 innings of work. Her 143 strikeouts were second in the conference while she led the ODAC in wins.

Hester registered a league high 16 doubles to go with a triple and three home runs. An on base percentage of .485 and slugging percentage of .669 were both top five in the ODAC. In the circle, Hester finished with six wins and a 3.50 earned run average.

Austin, a 2021 2nd teamer, returned to the 2nd team in 2022 at third base. Austin batted .350 with 13 runs scored and 17 runs batted in. The junior had five doubles, nine base on balls, and 36 hits. Defensively, Austin was 16th in the ODAC with 62 assists and committed just six errors on 91 total chances at the hot corner.
