Roanoke cruises past Randolph, 69-42

LYNCHBURG, Va. --- Roanoke jumped out to a 36-18 halftime lead and never looked back in a 69-42 win at Randolph College on Friday evening. With the win the Maroons improved to 15-2 overall and 11-2 in the ODAC.   The Wildcats dropped to 2-13, 2-11 in the conference.

The Wildcats closed the gap to 12 as Megan Carney's three-pointer capped a 10-2 run to make it 40-28 with 13:22 left in the second half.

Roanoke kept a comfortable lead the rest of the game and ended on a 13-2 run to give the final margin of 27 points. It was the sixth time this season that the Maroons defeated a team by at least 25 points or more.
