Game Notes vs. Emory & Henry - Women's Basketball
The Roanoke women will take on Emory & Henry in ODAC action Tuesday night at the Bast Center. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.

Roanoke owns a 53-24 series lead over Emory & Henry since 1975-76. Susan Dunagan is 4-0 against Steven Kenner and the Maroons have won seven of their last eight meetings against the Wasps.
 
 About the Maroons
Roanoke is currently 12-6 overall, 11-3 in the ODAC, ranked third in the conference standings. The Maroons fell to Eastern Mennonite, 68-61 on Saturday which was their second loss in three games. They were defeated by Bridgewater, 85-68 on Feb. 1. The women hold a 6-1 record at the Bast Center this season, 26-4 over the last three years.
 
Nicci Moats is enjoying a breakout season, leading the ODAC in rebounding (10.9 rpg) and blocked shots (56). She leads the Maroons and ranked seventh in the conference in scoring (15.1 ppg). She is third on the career blocked shots list at Roanoke (103) and on the single-season list at Roanoke.
 
Jordan Gholson ranks first in the ODAC in field goal percentage (57.1%) and fifth in blocked shots (27). She leads the women in free-throw percentage (76.5%) and second in scoring (13.3 ppg) and rebounding (6.6 rpg).
 
Rebecca Bays (8.6 ppg) leads the women in assists (73) and second in steals with 27. She averages 4.1 rebounds per game and is ranked 11th on the career assists list with 236. In the win against Washington and Lee, she pulled down a career-best 10 boards.
 
Scouting the Wasps
Emory & Henry enters tonight's contest with a 3-15 record, 2-12 in the conference. They have lost three-straight and are 2-6 in road games this season. The Wasps reeled off back-to-back wins at Randolph (65-60) and at Hollins (78-73) at the end of January. They are ranked first in the ODAC in three-point attempts (22.7) and second in three-pointers made (6.6).
 
Jalan McPherson (12.8 ppg) leads the Wasps in scoring and three-pointers made (38). She is averaging 4.1 rebounds per game and is hitting 77.5% from the line this season. Ashlyn Baird (8.4 ppg) is averaging 4.5 boards a game while hitting 88.9% of her free-throw attempts this season.
