FOREST, Va. --- Fresh off its seventh conference crown, Randolph-Macon College was picked to repeat as ODAC champion in the 2011-12 ODAC Women's Basketball Preseason Poll, released Thursday.  In the ODAC Women's Basketball Media Day at the Salem Civic Center, it was announced that Roanoke was picked to finish sixth, ahead of Virginia Wesleyan and Lynchburg.

Randolph-Macon welcomes back three starters, a pair of all-conference performers; All-ODAC First Team member Maggie Roy (13.8 ppg) and second team choice Taylor Wieczorek (11.8 ppg, 9.0 rpg),  and the ODAC Tournament MOP from a season ago, Molly Brown (8.6 ppg, 4.0 rpg). The Yellow Jackets advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament before being knocked out by Lebanon Valley.

Guilford sits second in the ODAC survey with 79 points and one first place vote, while Bridgewater and Washington and Lee are tied in third with 72 points.  However, W&L also earned one first place vote.

Returning for the Maroons is the lone senior Nicci Moats (16.1 ppg, 11.6 rpg), who led the ODAC in rebounding and blocked shots.  Also returning is junior Hannah Davidson, who started 24 contests for Roanoke and knocked down 41 shots from behind the arc with a .406 three-point percentage.

Head Coach Susan Dunagan enters her 31st season on the sidelines with the Maroons.  Dunagan looks to capitalize off a previously successful 19-8 season, with a team that consists of eight players that are sophomores or younger.  A repeat performance of last year's 19-win season would earn Dunagan her 600th career win, a feat only accomplished by five other Division III women's basketball coaches all-time.
