The Maroons lead extended to 13 through the 11:14 mark as Bridget Holleran hit a pair of free throws to give the Maroons a 21-8 advantage. The second half proved to be more of the same from the Maroons. After the Mustangs' Abbey DeFeo hit a free throw at 15:40, the teams went on a two-minute scoring drought, which was ended after a Markia Beckwith Free throw, putting Roanoke up by 26, 55-29, the team's largest lead of the contest. With 7:18 to play, Roanoke led 61-37 after a Holleran jumper. Stevenson started to come back with a jumper from Kayleigh Guzek and a trey from Danielle Fieni, but Roanoke's lead was just too strong. The Maroons finished the contest on a layup from Marisa Patton, as Roanoke defeated Stevenson 68-46.
