Cary Beahm Named CoSIDA Academic All-Americaâ?¢
SALEM, Va. - Roanoke College's Cary Beahm has been named an Academic All-America Third-Team by the College Sports information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

Beahm becomes the first Academic-America in Roanoke College Women's Basketball history. Beahm is a junior and is majoring in both criminal justice and sociology, minoring in psychology and has earned a 3.96 grade point average since arriving on the Roanoke campus.

On the court, she was named First-Team All-ODAC. Beahm ranks third in the ODAC in scoring at 18.2 points per game. Her 8.2 rebounds per game is seventh and her 59.5 FG% is tops in the ODAC and ranks top-15 nationally in Division III, while her 174 made field goals in the most in the league and ranks 20th best in DIII . Beahm's 87.0 FT% is best in the ODAC and 25th best in Division III. Her 14 blocks is 14th most in the league. Beahm scored in double-figures in 25 of 26 games this season and had six double-doubles.
