Salem, Va. – Roanoke College senior Cary Beahm has been named to the CoSIDA Academic District Team as announced by the organization on Wednesday. Beahm in now eligible for the CoSIDA Academic All-American team that will be announced on Feb. 22. 

A 2016 CoSIDA Third-Team Academic All-American, Beahm fashions a 3.97 GPA while majoring in both Criminal Justice & Sociology with a minor in Psychology. 

On the court this season, Beahm is averaging 19.1 points per game which is third highest in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC). Her 9.2 rebounds per game is third best in the league, while her 48.3 shooting percentage is seventh and her 156 made field goals is the most in the ODAC. 

Beahm is a two-time All-ODAC selection, including a first-team nod at the conclusion of last season. She was also named to the D3hoops.com All-South Region team last year.
