SALEM, Va. – Roanoke Women's Basketball will play in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Quarterfinals on Friday, Feb. 22 at 6 p.m. at the Salem Civic Center.
The No. 7 seed Maroons defeated No. 10 seed Eastern Mennonite 81-67 in the first round of the tournament to advance to the quarterfinals. RC will take on No. 2 seed Emory & Henry in game five of the tournament on Friday.
Roanoke finished the regular season with a 16-9 overall and 9-9 conference record, highlighted by winning five of their first games to open the season in December.
Prior to Friday's tip-off, the Maroon Club will be hosting a hospitality room for Roanoke Basketball Alums, Maroon Club Members and Current Player Parents at 5:15 p.m. in the Section 3 of the Community Room at the Salem Civic Center.
If the Maroons win, they will advance to the ODAC Semifinals in game 8 of the tournament set for Saturday, Feb. 23 at 8 p.m. The finals are slated for 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 24.
