Salem, Va. – Roanoke College's Whitney Hopson has been named to the 2019 Old Dominion Athletic Conference All-Conference Team.

A freshman from Mechanicsville, Va., Hopson was named Third-Team All-ODAC by the league's head coaches.

Hopson is currently averaging nine points per game during her first season in Salem. She has also dished out 80 assists on the year which is the eighth most in the ODAC. On the defensive end of the floor, she leads the league with 67 steals on the season. Hopson, who averaged 25 minutes per game this season, has connected on 39 three-pointers and averaged 2.9 rebounds per game as well.

Hopson and the Maroons will take on No. 2 Emory & Henry in the quarterfinals of the 2019 Old Dominion Athletic Conference Tournament Friday at 6:00 p.m. at the Salem Civic Center.
