Junior midfielder Kathleen Wager was named ODAC Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week announced Monday evening. It's the first time in her career that she has garnered the weekly award and the first Maroon to do so on the women's lacrosse team for Roanoke.

Wager helped the Maroons to a pair of wins last week by scoring 10 goals and dishing out five assists in victories over Fitchburg St. and Wittenberg. She scored a career-best eight goals and handed out three assists in the 17-10 victory over Fitchburg St. on Tuesday. On Sunday vs. Wittenberg, she had two goals and two assists in the non-conference win. Wager leads Roanoke with 20 goals scored and is second with 27 points.

The women will travel up to Wager's hometown, Lexington, VA, to take on #13 Washington and Lee in ODAC action. Game time is scheduled for 4:30 PM.
