Roanoke College First Team All-ODAC selection, Elizabeth Hartge, has been named to the 2012 IWLCA North/South All-Star Game. Hartge will be a member of the South Squad when the team plays on June 16th.
The IWLCA honored 115 senior student-athletes with selection to one of the North-South rosters. The 2012 North-South games will take place at the Champions' Cup, held at the United Sports Training Center in Downingtown, Pa., on June 16. The event will precede the IWLCA All-American banquet, which will take place at the Radisson Valley Forge in King of Prussia, Pa., later that evening.
Hartge was named First-Team IWLCA All-Chesapeake Region in 2012. As a defender, she finished the season with nine goals and two assists. Hartge led the Maroons in ground balls (61) and forced turnovers (36), which ranked her first and second in the ODAC, respectively. Through the middle of the season, she scored goals in six consecutive games, including two goals against Berry on April 14th. Hartge also ranked third on the team in draw controls with 57.
