Greer and Eastlake Named to IWLCA Academic Honor Roll
Seniors Alysa Greer and Laura Eastlake have been named to the 2011 IWLCA Division Academic Honor Roll. The IWLCA honored 219 student-athletes from 85 different institutions with inclusion in the 2011 Academic Honor Roll.

Eastlake, a Business major, appeared in 10 games and started four of those contests. She finished the season with five goals and five assists, totaling 10 points. Eastlake's best perfomance came in the April 5th game against Randolph College where she scored two goals off two shots, and tallied three assits.

Greer, an English major, played and started in 18 games last season. She completed the season scoring two goals, one against Lynchburg and one versus Guilford. Greer also collected thirteen ground balls by the end of the season.

All student-athletes were nominated by their schools and have achieved at least junior status academically. Leading the way was IWLCA Scholar-Athlete of the Year Emmy Mathews from Washington & Lee. Among the 219 student-athletes are 52 who were members of teams that advanced to the NCAA tournament, including one from national champion Gettysburg, and four from national semifinalist TCNJ. Also honored are National Goalkeeper of the Year Lily Nguyen from Middlebury, National Midfielder of the Year Leigh Mitchell from TCNJ, and National Attacker of the Year Alison Jaeger from TCNJ.
