FOREST - Senior Kathleen Wager was named ODAC Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week, announced Monday evening. She is the first Maroon to win the accolade this season, and this is the second time she has won the award overall. She last was named Player of the Week on March 19^th, 2012.

Wager, a Lexington, VA native, was a major factor in Roanoke's two women's lacrosse victories this week. On March 11^th, the Maroons defeated Washington and Lee in a game that saw three overtime periods, for Roanoke's first win over the Generals since the ODAC Championship game on May 6^th, 2009. Wager led the team in scoring with four goals, including the game-winner in golden goal play. In Roanoke's win over Drew University on March 15^th, Wager finished the game with five goals to her credit. She currently has 11 goals and one assist on the season, along with 11 ground balls.

The Maroons return to action on Tuesday, March 19^th as they host ODAC opponent Bridgewater College in Kerr Stadium. That contest is scheduled for a 6:00 PM start.
