Women's Lacrosse Places Four on 2014 All-ODAC Squads
FOREST – The Roanoke College women's lacrosse team placed four players on the 2014 Women's Lacrosse All-ODAC Teams, announced on Monday. Claire Feeney and Darragh Evarts were named to the All-ODAC First Team, while Allison Bonanno was tabbed All-ODAC Second Team, and Alexa Germany grabbed Third Team All-ODAC honors.

Darragh Evarts – Junior – Midfield
Evarts, the Goldens Bridge, NY native, picks up her third straight First Team All-ODAC award with the honors in 2014. Junior Darragh Evarts led the Maroons in scoring with 71 goals, matching her goal total from the 2013 season. She finished the year with 103 points, adding 32 assists to the mix. Her points and goals ranks fifth in single season marks at Roanoke College as well. She tallied with 126 draw controls, which is the single-season record for the Roanoke women's lacrosse program. Evarts also moved into first all-time in draw controls with 291, passing Gina Valles '11 early in the season, who previously held the record with 199. Darragh still has one year left to play to add on to that incredible statistic. She also ranks fourth all-time in goals scored with 195, just eight away from passing Leigh Budnitz '91.

Claire Feeney – Sophomore – Attack
Feeney, of Old Greenwich, CT, earns her first All-ODAC nod in her first season with the Maroons. Feeney was second in scoring for the Maroons in 2014, notching 62 goals. She also added 20 assists to the mix. Feeney's 62 goals on the year ranked fourth in the ODAC, and her 82 overall points sat as the number-five mark in the conference. She also ranked 8th in the conference in shots on goal (83), and ninth in free position goals (10). She finished the season with 31 ground balls and 48 draw controls (11th in ODAC).

Allison Bonanno – Senior – Attack
Bonanno, a native of Ridgewood, NJ, earned her third All-ODAC nod, being named to the First Team in both 2012 and 2013. With 95 points in her senior season, Bonanno moved into second all-time at Roanoke in points with 358, passing Ali Oglesby '98 who had 298 during her years as a Maroon. At the end of Bonanno's junior season, she had already set the all-time record for assists at Roanoke with 147, and with 40 more in 2014, extending that mark to 187. Her 187 assists is now an ODAC record for career assists, passing Meagan Dicave of Virginia Wesleyan, who played from 1999-02. Also, the 40 assists from Bonanno ranked second in the ODAC. Bonanno finished the year with 55 goals off of 88 shots on goal. She had 35 ground balls, 37 draw controls and eight forced turnovers.

Alexa Germany – Junior – Defense
Germany, from West Hempstead, NY, earns her first All-ODAC nod with Third Team honors in 2014. She played and started in all 17 games for the Maroons. During the season, Germany picked up 17 ground balls, as well as forcing 11 turnovers. In playing a strong role in Roanoke's transition from defense to offense in games, Germany tallied her first career goal and first career assist in the 22-14 win over Randolph-Macon.
